185 day position
Now accepting applications for a paraprofessional to work with students under the guidance of a licensed teacher.
Must meet federal criteria to be highly qualified by having completed at least ONE of the following:
- Hold an associate's degree from an accredited college
- Completed two years of college coursework (minimum of 48 credit hours)
- Passed the ParaPro assessment
Qualifications:
- Ability to model and promote a culture of high expectations for student and staff performance Basic computer skills involving word processing and spreadsheets
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and community members Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Previous experience working with students preferred
- Selected applicants must satisfactorily complete a drug and alcohol screen, criminal records check, and Child Protective Services check.
The salary and ock/personal days will be prorated for the remaining of the 2024-25 school year.
