Martinsville Middle School and Martinsville High School

Dates: Beginning August 31, 2016 for the 2016-2017 Academic School Year

Hours: 5 hours per week. Plus 4 hours of initial training before tutoring begins.

AVID Tutors will be paid at $15 an hour.

Qualifications:

• The AVID system provides mentoring and tutoring to enable students to have academic success and to be better prepared for college.
• AVID Tutors will assist AVID Elective Teachers in tutorology sessions, notebook checks, making copies of required forms and materials, mentoring duties, and any related assigned duties.
