Occupational Therapist
200-Day Position
Seeking qualified individual to provide student occupational therapy services in a public school setting. This position reports to and is evaluated by the Executive Director of Special Education & Student Services.

Qualifications:
- Must hold at a minimum a valid Occupational Therapist certification
- Demonstrated knowledge of current principles, procedures, techniques, and instruments used in occupational therapy
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities related to remedial procedures and instrumentation in the implementation of occupational therapy services
- Ability to work collaboratively with other assessment/treatment personnel, such as speech language pathologists, physical therapists, and school psychologists and counselors to determine student eligibility for special education services
- Ability to interpret results of assessments in relation to student educational placement and programming to parents, teachers, administrators, and students
- Ability to monitor student educational progress in relation to IEP goals and objectives
- Ability to model and promote a culture of high expectations for student and staff performance
- Experience working with diverse populations including students with limited English proficiency, students who live in poverty and students who are talented and gifted
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative-shared leadership environment
