Speech-Language Pathologist 200-Day Position
Seeking qualified individual to provide student speech-language pathology services in a public school setting. This position reports to and is evaluated by the Executive Director of Special Education & Student Services.

Qualifications:
- Must hold at a minimum a valid school speech-language pathologist license issues by the BASLP; master's degree required
- Demonstrated knowledge of current principles, procedures, techniques, and instruments used in the evaluation of speech, language, voice, and hearing
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities related to remedial procedures and instrumentation in the habilitation, prevention and rehabilitation of disorders of articulation, language, fluency, voice, resonance, and hearing, as well as disorders of the oral and pharyngeal mechanisms as they relate to communication
- Ability to work collaboratively with other assessment/treatment personnel, such as occupational and physical therapists, and school psychologists and counselors to determine student eligibility for special education services
- Ability to interpret results of assessments in relation to student educational placement and programming to parents, teachers, administrators, and students
- Ability to monitor student educational progress in relation to IEP goals and objectives
- Ability to model and promote a culture of high expectations for student and staff performance
- Experience working with diverse populations including students with limited English proficiency, students who live in poverty and students who are talented and gifted
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative-shared leadership environment
