ESL Instructor 
200-Day Position

Seeking qualified English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor to work with English language learners in a classroom environment.  Reports to and is evaluated by the Principal.
 
Qualifications: 

• Hold a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, or possess a demonstrated combination of relevant knowledge and skills to perform the requirements of the position 
• Ability to model and promote a culture of high expectations for student and staff performance 
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and community members; fluency in a foreign language desirable 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others 
• Previous experience working with students preferred
• Basic computer skills involving word processing and spreadsheets 
• Selected applicants must satisfactorily complete a drug and alcohol screen, criminal records check, and Child Protective Services check.
